A Normal Family, the highly anticipated South Korean drama directed by acclaimed filmmaker Hur Jin-ho (The Last Princess), has released its official trailer, offering a glimpse into a suspenseful tale of familial bonds and moral dilemmas.

Adapted from Herman Koch’s best-selling novel The Dinner, the film centers on two brothers—Jae-wan (Sul Kyung-gu), a successful lawyer, and Jae-gyu (Jang Dong-gun), a principled pediatrician—whose lives are upended when their teenage children become involved in a violent crime. As the families gather for their customary dinner, the revelation of CCTV footage forces them to confront unsettling truths, challenging their values and relationships.

The ensemble cast features Kim Hee-ae as Yeon-kyung, a mother determined to protect her family, and Claudia Kim as Ji-soo, who witnesses the unraveling of their once-stable lives. The film delves into themes of privilege, responsibility, and the complexities of parental love.

A Normal Family premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and has since garnered international attention, securing distribution deals across multiple territories. The movie is coming out in the US and Canada - find the list of theaters here.
